How the event will run: This is a free event and does not require a sign up. You can come at anytime during the event to pick up your hot chocolate.
Mandatory Shared Houses Welcome Talk
Friday 26th September 6pm - 7pm
Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre, Michael Sadler Building
Mandatory welcome talk including information about opportunities, activities and support available.
Michael Sadler has an accessible entrance on the West side of the building, near to a circular courtyard. There are wheelchair spaces at the front of the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre. An accessible toilet is located next to the female toilets in Michael Sadler building, on the same level as the lecture theatre.
How this event will run: This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves a presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, student support and opportunities. The talk is mandatory for all residents.
Shared Houses BBQ
Monday 29th September 6pm - 8pm
Marquee outside Leeds University Union
Free Welcome BBQ for attendees!
The marquee outside Leeds University Union is wheelchair accessible. An accessible toilet is located inside the Union foyer, and there is a ramp to get into the foyer.
How the event will run: Food will be served at 6pm and students can have one free meal from the BBQ. This event will end when the food is finished. This is an optional event. You can arrive and leave at any time during the event.
