Welcome Pizza & Quiz Night
Monday 15th September from 6.30pm
Sentinel Towers Common Room
Join Sentinel Towers Quiz Night for a change to meet new people and have free pizza!
The Sentinel Towers common room is wheelchair accessible.
How the event will run: There will be free pizza for students to enjoy during the quiz, ordered from Dominos. This will include vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options. Students need to arrive at 6.30pm Students need to get into teams to complete in the quiz. This is an optional event and you can leave whenever you want.

Mandatory Sentinel Towers Welcome Talk
Tuesday 23rd September 6pm - 7pm
Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre, Michael Sadler Building
Mandatory talk starting at 6pm to welcome students to Sentinel Towers and explain the activities opportunities and support available.
Michael Sadler has an accessible entrance on the West side of the building, near to a circular courtyard. There are wheelchair spaces at the front of the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre. An accessible toilet is located next to the female toilets in Michael Sadler building, on the same level as the lecture theatre.
How this event will be run: This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves a presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, student support and opportunities. The talk is mandatory for all residents.
City Centre Walking Tour
Wednesday 24th September from 5pm
Meet at Sentinel Towers Reception
Chance to explore the city centre and get to know people at your residence
The walking tour will be into the city centre and the route will be along roads which are wheelchair accessible.
How this event will run: students will meet at the reception and leave as a group. The Warden will highlight useful places for them to know and will show them how to get into the city centre. Students can return with the Warden to the residence, or can choose to stay in the city centre.
Sentinel Towers Welcome BBQ
Thursday 25th September 6.30pm - 9pm
Outside at Sentinel
Free welcome BBQ!
The outdoor area at Sentinel Towers is wheelchair accessible.
How the event will run: Food will be served at 6.30pm and students can have one free meal from the BBQ. This event will end when the food is finished. This is an optional event. You can leave and arrive at any time during the event.
Free ice cream
Friday 26th September 2pm - 4pm

Come along to get a free ice cream and socialise

How the event will run: Ice cream will be available from an ice cream van between 2pm and 4pm. This is an optional event. You can leave and arrive at anytime during the event.
