City Tour (Unite Event)

Join for a City Tour to get to know Leeds! Sign up for this event at reception
There is step-free access to the reception.
How this event will run: This is an optional event and sign up is required via reception. You will be greeted by your cite team and set off on a walk around Leeds. This event will allow you to learn more about Leeds and provide an opportunity to meet students also living in Hepworth Lodge. You will need to join the event at the start time of 12pm. You can leave at any point during the event.
Building Orientation (Unite event)

Get an introduction to your residence building while getting to know your cite team and students at Hepworth Lodge! Sign up for this event at reception

How the event will run: This is an optional event, sign up is required via reception. Hepworth cite team will carry out an induction to your residence. This includes giving essential information about the building. You can leave at any point during the event. For more information contact your cite team at reception!
Visit to the Royal Armouries Museum (Unite event)

How the event will run: This is an optional event, sign up is required via reception. Hepworth cite team will take you to the Royal Armouries museum, entrance is free. This is your chance to explore Leeds! You will need to join the event at the start time of 10am. You can leave at any point during the event. For more information contact your cite team at reception!

Mandatory Welcome Talk & Dinner
Wednesday 24th September 6pm - 7.30 pm

Welcome talk from your warden followed by a free dinner
How the event is run: This talk from your Residence Life Warden involves a presentation for approximately an hour which explains important information about living in residences, support and opportunities. Mandatory for all students.
Entry to the venue: Two lift options are available to the first basement floor (Co-op level) Lift 1 can be found opposite the Refectory. This lift goes to floor -1. From there, the lift to the venue is located at the end of the corridor, past the food vendors, Co-op and the Scarlet Studio and Mango Studio. This lift can then be used to get to Pyramid Canteen (floor -2) and Pyramid Theatre (floor -3).
Lift 2 is located through the doors to the left of the main Terrace entrance and then by turning right once you’re through those doors. From there, the lift to the venue is located at the end of the corridor, past Stylus steps, Co-op and the Scarlet Studio and Mango Studio. This lift can then be used to get to Pyramid Canteen (floor -2) and Pyramid Theatre (floor -3).
Accessible toilet: Found at the back right hand side of Pyramid Canteen, on the upper level. This can be accessed via ramp. There is no toilet available in the theatre.
Speed Quiz at Archive

There is step-free access to the reception. Archive is an accessible venue.
How the event is run: This is a free event that does not require a sign up. You will meet your warden at reception at 6.30pm and walk down to Archive. The speed quiz will start at 7pm. You will need to arrive for 6.30 but you can leave at anytime during the event.
Outdoor Cinema & Free Ice Cream
Thursday 25th September from 6pm - 8.30pm
Hepworth Lodge Courtyard
Come down for outdoor screening and free ice cream!
Enter through the side gate for wheelchair access.
How will the event run: This is a free event that does not require a sign up. You can arrive and leave at anytime during the event. There will be a screening of a movie that you can join and free ice cream will be provided.
Welcome Party at Roxy Ball Room (Unite event)
Tuesday 30th September 7pm - 1am
